Singin' in the Rain Jr - 119046

Singin' in the Rain Jr

**This class is for grades 6th-10th in Fall 2019. This means they will be in grades 5th-9th in Spring 2019.**The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from their original award winning screenplay in Singin' in the Rain JR. Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit parade score of Hollywood standards make Singin' in the Rain JR. a guaranteed good time for performers and audience members alike. Singin' in the Rain JR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline - the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her. Parent meeting is May 20, 6-8 pm at the Springer Cultural Center, auditions are May 23 and 24, 6-9 pm at the Springer Cultural Center. Call backs are May 25, 12-3 pm at the Springer Cultural Center. Performance Dates are July 18-20 at 7 pm with a 2 pm matinee July 20 and a special performance for camps July 19 at 10 am at the Virginia Theatre. There is a $35 non-refundable fee for this program
