Seussical Kids - 418024

Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Seussical KIDS is great fun for the whole family. Young performers will be excited to portray the characters from the popular Dr. Seuss books. This musical provides wonderful creative opportunities in terms of set design, lighting and costuming and can easily accommodate a large cast. PLEASE NOTE: Parents will be asked to help with their child's costume and volunteer 10 hours per family. Parent Meeting is March 26, 6-8 pm at the Virginia Theatre. Auditions are March 27 and 28, 6-8 pm at the Springer Cultural Center. This program meets M/Tu/Th 6-8 pm for rehearsals. Directors may schedule special rehearsals as needed. Performances are May 17-19 at 7 pm and May 19 at 2 pm at the Virginia Theatre
